Well, bought Plus 4 February, done 6200 miles in it and it’s gone. Sold to Williams Bristol and on their site for sale. I loved it at first. Never tired of looking at it but I soon tired of driving it. It just wasn’t for me. Steering not to my liking, felt slow and engine harsh. But it was the ride that killed it for me. I feel like a non practicing catholic! You guys and girls who love them seem to have an unflappable faith and I am slightly jealous of the fun and pleasure you get out of them. I just couldn’t find the faith. So some good drives to remember, fair amount of pain and stuff breaking . Won’t miss trips to Malvern factory but probably everything sorted under warranty by now. Not sure what’s next. But out of it now at a cost of 80.6 pence per mile in depreciation. Took it like a man! Thanks for the interaction on this site and help and info that came back from all you experts, and the odd bit of banter that made me chuckle on the odd evening. I will miss the interaction more than the car!
I can now say with Morgan , been there, done that!

Well done you tried it and took it on the chin, don't be a stranger to the site though we are all hopelessly infatuated by the infernal combustion engine. We love hearing about alternatives several people on here have previously owned a Morgan and continue to give accounts of their latest steeds. Good Luck with your choosing.

No shame in moving on, especially after giving it a good try. Good luck with your next adventure.

I was going to sell mine a few months ago but unlike your good self it wasn’t because of the car. I still smile inwardly and outwardly whenever I drive it. I went through lots of sports cars when I realised I wasn’t enjoying biking anymore and it could be that the Morgan feels like (to me) a 4 wheeled motorbike that makes me enjoy it so much. I really hope you find what you really want. It can be a frustrating journey but I’m sure you’ll get there.

Sorry to see you leave the fold, but hey, with 6,000 miles in well under a year no-one can say you didn't give it a fair go.

When it stops singing to you, you know it’s time to part. Good luck in your search for its replacement. Mines down at Williams next week.

Whilst appreciating your decision is pretty final now , did you try the Willaims demo car with SSL front and SSL 5L rear suspension?
That is something of a revelation into how the Morgan suspension can be made so much more compliant, and handle a lot a better.
