Were there no issues there would be no posts necessary - this is a major issue and is putting prospective buyers of purchasing at all certain people need to realise.
Bloody hell Richard, you beat me to it... Well Gary the truth will out - when acquaintances and friends ask me about the new Morgan 3 wheeler I tell them the truth (as written by M3W owners on here) not some "rose tinted" view of them that some people have. I don't want any of them suffering at the wheel of one on my recommendation, I value my friends and acquaintances. I steer them in the Morgan 4 wheeled direction.

+1 Mark, the social side of M3W ownership is just as important as driving it as far as I’m concerned.
I have met and made friendships with many people I would never have met had it not been for the 3 wheeler.
Long may it continue. Dab of oppo, I think ALL TM'ers would agree and wish every one many years of safe, trouble free motoring and the comradery that goes with it.

STOP FEEDING THE TROLL(s)
They seem to have climbed over the wall from the classic Morgan forum and become armchair experts. It’s like someone posting on a Fireblade forum because they own a Honda Jazz. Any more non owning, self appointed experts want to chime in on this OLD resurrected thread (2014)? There must be a motive to this odd window licking behaviour?
Wait.. I’m a non owner!
Meh...

Stop feeding the trolls? When I joined this forum I was positively surprised by the online atmosphere. Maybe I misread your post, but surely all morganeers -including the non-mw3-drivers- are entitled to their opinion and worries about a possible risk that a weak chassis brings? Do you need to be a 3 wheeler owner to be allowed to join the discussion? It may be an old thread, but apparently the chassis' still fail every now and then. As a Plus4-driver I've always admired the M3W and thought about the fun it would be to drive. However, the risk involved in this weak chassis (safety, not even financially) put me off even trying it in the first place. Maybe I'm afraid a testdrive will make me forget al the critical points mentioned...

Take a test Drive Thomas. If I had the space I would have one just for an occasional weekend blast. MrsW though, doesn't like the idea at all, so a good job we don't have space...........

Absolutely right Thomas everyone on this site has their right to an opinion and we don't often get dictatorial ones' the like of which you are referring to. Luckily we have in the majority polite and tolerant posters that create a good atmosphere. Give the M3W a go if it's in your comfort zone, my wife won't often get in the Plus8 and having read some of the threads on here wouldn't entertain me having an M3W.
