This evening a short trip back home from the mechanic in Stockholm. Anyone who claims that you can not buy love, has not paid the bill for service of their beloved Morgan.

A nice 26 mile amble around the local lanes this afternoon and picked up a bit of shopping in Dartmouth and there was 2 sail training ships in beautiful. Nelson and Tenacious. It looks like they are in for B&B as well..

Have taken my S1 Roadster to Krazy Horse for it's seond service this year ( I have done 8,300 miles) plus an MOT. It used to run out in March but this years beast from the east convinced me to move that. The mad fools at Krazy Horse have lent me a 2015 Roadster with their in development variable noise sports side exhausts. I am now desperately trying to find a tunnel between Trimley & Bury St Edmunds to get the full effect.    The car has clearly more power than the S1 but I find the tunnel makes the pedal & foot space tight vs the S1. The speedo is a nightmare as it is on the passenger side & this car thinks 80 is slow. I would have to move it over to the drivers side.

Interesting observations John. My partner was the first to complain about the wide gearbox leading to seat orientation not aligning with footwell. I've known no different so no complaints although have to agree with her findings. Will have to find an excuse to borrow this KH development car. I know the Librands system was dyno tested by a customer and gave around 20 bhp more although at the cost of slightly reduced torque when bumbling along below 2000 rpm. Guessing the KH one will reveal a few extra Pleasant although blustery 35 mile round trip to M3W club lunchtime meet at Woolpit - apparently I'm still welcome  Good excuse to test out new AVO front shocks. Very pleased with them on setting 6 as recommended by Cain as starting point. Tried 4 on return journey and seemingly back to choppy ride on poor surfaces, so much so I actually stopped and put them up one notch. Will try 7 next and probably end up back on 6.

A damp in places 150 mile round trip to Woodford to visit the Avro Heritage Centre with DonMog and friends. Including two transits of The Cat and Fiddle. Managed to avoid putting the hood up as the rain only exceeded a drizzle for short periods on the way there. A grand day out.  Including a cockpit tour of their S for Sugar replica.

Well I did on Saturday with a run to the VSCC hill climb at Prescott. A pleasurable day all round.
