Such sad and shocking news Ian, thank you for letting our community know. Gerald was a lovely man and it was a pleasure to share his company last weekend.

What awfully sad news, Gerald had become a close friend to me through TM and all the various trips.
We also live in the same village he used to live in before he moved to Swindon which gave us another common bond.
He will be greatly missed.

What awful news. I didn't have the privilege of knowing Gerald, but he sounds like a lovely chap. Very sorry to hear this.

So very sorry to hear this. Gerald seemed a lovely guy and Libby and I were looking forward to getting to know him better. At least we got to spend the weekend with him. What a very distressing way for you to learn of his passing, Ian. Our thoughts are with you and Maria and his family.

Thank you Ian for passing on this terribly sad news.
Gerald was a kind and gentle man that would do anything for anybody and incredibly enthusiastic about his M3W.
He will be sadly missed by us all and certainly NEVER FORGOTTEN.
Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family.
