Awesome stunt.
I would like to know how the shredder was triggered to start just as the auctioneers hammer came down. Must have been by someone present with a remote device.
Rumour is that the value of the “finished article” has jumped up.
I like Banksy’s work. It is so much more than graffiti.

He is pure brilliance - the shredder was probably triggered remotely by mobile, we used to make devices with a SIM in to do this for events we needed to activate at will. His work is as you say so much more than graffiti and usually caries a powerful social comment for those that chose to listen
