I was noticing that there are no more references to Aero 8 and Plus 8.
Does anybody knows something more, e.g. if/when they will present something else?
Forgive me if this has already been discussed and, in case, please point me to the right topic.

My best guess is Geneva 2019 might be the release date of whatever happens next as this has traditionally been Morgan's preferred show ?

Should we run a book on what's coming next.

They can’t have a stand at Geneva with just the current range....even with the pushbikes, it was a sorry affair at Goodwood. I don’t see them not being there so there must be some new models. At a guess a revised 4/4 once the engine mapping is sorted...or replacement engine perhaps....and the Aero replacement. That one should be interesting and it would be great to see a new body style after all these years of iterations. The design team must be dying to do some proper work!

Engine wise I can’t see them dropping their well established links with BMW.

I agree...my guess is that the 4/4 will have a small BMW, or possibly Ford engine, with a turbo.

The Aero is only resting.... I'm convinced the next Aero will be a game changer, just as the last one was in 2001. I look forward....but Tarka is staying...perhaps....it all depends. confused2

Pin Graham down and taunt him with sausage rolls until he agrees to break into morgan hedgehogworks shed and get the secret plans, to save discovery he can bring any new models out in Mamod form or maybe meccano or even whittled in miniature on the end of a match stick. wink

The GDI in a narrow body should become the 4/4.

Then the Plus 4 could have 200bhp.

Not sure about the bodywork but if latest Miscellany is to be believed the 4/4 will be back within the next 12 months with fresh homologation and same Sigma engine.

This based on the fact the emission issue affecting EU markets is Morgan specific and requires re-calibration of bespoke ECU.

We were up the factory last week picking up our baby after some electrical work,I must say it looked quite subdued the service workshop is flat out though. Too much work has gone into the Aero and 8 and like the last time they suspended production it will be back. The shop looked good and i spoke at length to an Aussie he sat in my car and remarked that the visit to the factory was the highlight of his holiday nice to hear.
