That was fine in the past but I have it on good authority that the recent squeaks are Chinese imports.

I have heard that a chinese copy is often better than the original... party

Well I followed the above advice and squirted WD40 over my squeaky rear springs and damper bolts, followed by chain oil. The following morning, Tuesday, the squeaking was gone. Brilliant. Did 200 miles on Wednesday and Thursday and it's back worse than ever!
Do they all do that?

On an MGB you could take the springs off, separate the leaves, add lubrication and refit in a long afternoon.

Unfortunately it's a tougher job on a Morgan.........

Stuart, have you tried the Slip and slide motion lotion, mixed with a bit of pounding fluid. That should cure it...

Duck oil is clearly the solution.

How about soft cheese?
If the mouse is eating it won’t be squeaking!

Otherwise just squirt chain lube on a few times. It will eventually help once it has penetrated between the leaves. It takes time! I don’t use WD40 just chain lube.
