Ah well the secret for the ladies is an equestrian hairnet under a hat...........

MrsW was a hairdresser and is very particular about her hair. The equestrian hairnet solved the problem.

Cost next to nothing from Amazon..............everybody happy.

Ah now I understand why your hairdressing coiffure is second to none!!!!

Assuming Mrs W looks after your hairdressing needs then the money saved over the years of marriage more than covers the running of two Morgans!!!!

Hi John

Williams Automobiles have designed it so it fits the narrow body too (narrower between arches) you just adjust the wind blocker hinge so it turns inwards.

Well that is strange. I took my '92 plus4 down to them to get a blocker but they couldn't get it to fit. I will hhave to contact them.

Anything which makes an open air ride better for the lady of the house gets full marks from me. I expect it has benefits in the rain too.
I hope to try Craig's car with, and without it, to do a comparison. Then I'll have to check for corroding brake cylinders. Oh and then spray some duck oil over the springs. I'll have to look at the parts book to see how to get at the front Spring hangers, then fit the metal tee in the heater circuit that I've had waiting on the shelf.
Oh, and I need to fit a radiator guard, since I took the number plate box off. Oh yes, and everyone says I need an aluminium radiator as well. And see to the few patches of body corrosion. And get the wheels off and give them a good cleaning, and while I'm there, check if the tyres are brittle and contributing to the squeaky springs and hard ride. Which reminds me, it was suggested that I change the shocks to get a better ride. And then maybe get the wind stopper. And a Bimini for a trip to Spain, but that would mean getting a side exhaust to avoid fumes. Which might not be needed if I had a wind stopper. Must phone Craig.

Exactly, when I’m on my own I take it off, not that I’ve got any hair for the wind to rush through.

How many of the drivers on here have hair to get the wind in?

Well there are certainly at least 5 of us down in the Southwest peninsular for starters and a few of us still to turn grey.

My view too Burgandymog - why buy à Morgan If you can't put up with wind in your haïr ? My lovely lady and I have spent all summer (and it continues) driving everywhere, including motor ways, with just aero-screens, much better than the full wind-screen. To continue the gripe, I also have difficulty understanding why folks insist on driving with no hood but with the side-screens.... each to their own I suppose.
Ah, feel better now !
