You can get ethanol free in New York state but not in Massachusetts, and the orange mushroom dick wants to permit 15% ethanol content! I might just syphon the tank thus time.

What's your mileage? Who cares. Is it practical? See #1. What happens when it rains? You get wet.

Ouch--$24.95 per gallon at the Wayland location, makes even UK prices look appealing. Thanks for the tip though.

It does look like Mass only allows it for racing fuels and the like. Aviation gas is cheaper than that!
I'm in Southern VT and Stewart's is close at hand.
What's your mileage? Who cares. Is it practical? See #1. What happens when it rains? You get wet.

In the UK 100 octane unleaded AVGAS is methanol and ethanol free....
It also has an ultra low water content and must have a storage life of at least 12 months.
It costs around £8 a US gallon.

Isn't the commonly available Avgas low lead (in comparison to conventional high lead Avgas) rather than unleaded?
There is supposed to be unleaded Avgas available but I have know idea how available or how much.

There is supposed to be unleaded Avgas available but I have know idea how available or how much. AVGAS 91/96 UL is increasingly available, typically 10 to 15p a litre cheaper than 100LL. The nearest airfields to me that stock it are Compton Abbas and Popham.

As it cools off in the mountains of Southern California (yes, it snows at 6,000 feet), we prepare the M3W for winter by driving it back to Phoenix😁.
