Can anyone recommend a good method for removing the "Safety Warning" Sticker without damaging the paintwork?

For the sticker above the dash, I used low heat on a heat gun and it came right off.

For the one on the engine top cover, it flew off this summer during a spirited drive, leaving only a little sticky residue!

If you have local sign shop you could ask in there as they will normally have some fluid for removal of vinyl adhesive, but I would try a test area first.

Spray a bit of WD40 on it and leave to soak for half an hour, usually works really well and the label just floats off

Having removed a few stickers, I recommend warming it with a hairdryer to soften the adhesive first

Then Swan lighter fuel to get rid of any residue

You can also use lighter fuel to soak any part of the sticker that doesn’t come away but make sure that any shiny coating is either scored or torn off otherwise it won’t penetrate

I heated mine with a hair dryer then stuck a big piece of wide painters tape over the top of it and peeled the whole sticker off without stretching it, then I stuck it on my toolbox! I think if I wanted to I could put it back in its original place when I sold the car
