Hello there,
I found an unusual full metal model of a classic Morgan in an antique shop in brighton. Size is about 20cm long, weight 1kg.
The only comparable model so far I have seen during a visit to the Morgan Motor Museum. See the other foto. Does anybody know, if these models are still available somewhere to buy. Who made them. Was this a small series of different models? In the pictures, the car is the same, but the driver sits in different positions. I'm curious if anyone knows about these models. I look forward to your information.

The second model appears to be the scale model of the intended full size statue of HFS which never materialised.

It is Dave.
It's in front of the window into the recreated office of Peter Morgan, in MMC's museum. You can just see part of the owl to the right.
AFAIK there was only one like this.
Pretty certain there has been a photo of the one in the first photograph already on this forum?

Indeed, I shoot the 2. foto 4 years ago in front of the office in MMC Museum. I was there at the 100 year celebration of the factory.
I did not know that this is a model of an unrealized monument.
Maybe they had created several models in the brainstorming to decide on a final model.
That would explain why the model on picture 1 seems a bit unfinished. The window frame is still filled with material. There is still excess material under the car. Nowhere is a reference to a manufacturer engraved or pasted. That's usually the norm with every model car. That would explain why the model on picture 1 seems a bit unfinished. I suppose I found something relatively rare, not a mass product

I also have the first model which I found in a junk shop in Devon 3 years ago and I got for £20

No identifying marks on model..very nice details and polishes up beautifully.
