Hi everyone,

I was wondering if the heated seats option in a new +4 heats just the seat or does it heat the lumbar area also.

What do people think of this as an option?

Thanks
G

I think it only heats the seat, but not sure. In colder weather I wear a coat anyway so heated lumbar would be harder to notice anyway.

It's a great feature though. Works well, great in colder weather.

A heated steering wheel would be nice as well... hide

thanks,

It does sound nice...
I hate adding any extra electronics unless really worth it...
Just something else to break down.
I guess it adds another button on the dash also?

The modern heater is so efficient I don't find the need for heated seats... Probably be two switches.

Heated seats were one extra we decided not to have when we trimmed the total price down to a 'reasonable' level.

Our other deletes were contrasting stitching on the seats and embroidered head restraints.

On the Plus 8 it is the backrest and seat base....I wouldn't be without it. It makes open top driving on a cold day a joy and removes the need for very heavy jackets.

The only improvement would be the Airscarf, used by Mercedes, BMW and Audi. It blows warm air over shoulders and neck.

. Peter you're getting soft, next thing you'll want a perspex canopy like a P51 mustang.

The buttons are on both sides next to the radio.
Hard to reach at first, but once you know it's ok.
I just keep forgetting which side is position 1 or 2.

A remote for the radio is also a good addition. Not expensive, aftermarket in my case (Pioneer radio, don't know if that is factory-fitted or dealers' choice)

Mine heat the seat and the back, have 2 heat settings.

Don't use them a huge amount but when we do find them excellent for open top running on cold days.

Worth the extra in my opinion.
