Hi, Looking at your photo it looks like you have a complete metal rocker cover. I hate the black plastic one. How have you achieved this. Is the cover you are fabricating to cover the whole rocker cover or just the channel between the two halves. If you bought the metal rocker cover, what's the source? As an aside I also fabricated a perspex cover. see thread link below

Just looked at the Williams product. £210

It is from ebay

Ford Fiesta MK6 ST150/ST500 Polished Stainless Steel Engine Cover Chrome look

Purchased from https://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/thefleeceafc

At the time it was a buy it now of £35 including postage

There is one currently at a bid of £26 + £6 p&p

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ford-Fiesta-M...ok/142997982721

Maybe maybe if you send him a message he could provide one at a buy it now price

Morgan label was purchased from MMC on a whim, and put away, recently found it in a cupboard and stuck it on the cover

Perhaps it's just me but that seems enough to be paying for a bit of moulded plastic coffee

Teknome:
Thanks for the info. Couple of queries.
1. Looking at your photo the engine appears to be the same as mine. Can you confirm its the 2000cc Duratec? I am not up to speed on the EBAY description etc. (Mine is a 2006).
2. In your photo the front part of the Rocker Cover (ie forward of the S/S plate) also appears to be metal. Is this the case or is it just trick of light? If it is metal where did you get that bit from?

Again thanks for the help.
Ian

Yes it is a 2007 Plus 4 with a 2000cc Duratec. The timing chain cover at the front is the standard plastic cover.

A couple of months ago Henry Williams told me that he was making a cover for the Duratec, at the time he mentioned 'carbon fibre'. While waiting for them to go into production I started looking around and a friend found the listing for this Ford Fiesta cover on ebay. As I was aiming for a complete cover (not just covering the center channel), and this cover was not too expensive (Ford Fiesta pricing), I decided to take the chance to see if it would fit. I guess that if you advertised it as made to fit a Morgan, you would have to increase the price.

There is a very small gap between the front of the cover and the timing chain cover, and I have some edge sealing strips on order.
