I was reading the Lancia thread and thinking about the good old days of watching Sandro "Il Drago" Munari rallying both with the Fulvia and the Stratos and many memories flashed of those old days.
My first rallying experience was back in the early 70's, watching the TAP Rally. I was in love with the Alpine Renault armada (Darniche, Andruet, Nicolas, Therier) but Nicolas, for some reason, was my favourite.
So, sorry for the long introduction, but I had my day last week when I came accross this wonderful video featuring Nicolas and the privateer entered Almeras Porsche 911 he incredibly used to win the 1978 Monte Carlo, against all factory teams present.
It's as the motto from the picture Richard posted a few days ago("The idea is to die young as late as possible"). I do wish to be as young at 74 as Nicolas is.
Wonderful Mario thank you for that treat amazing driving, they never lose it do they. What an example he is to the rest of us, we have to travel in hope and optimism.
