Had some time on my hands today so invented and fitted some high tec security to the spare wheel on the rear. See pix. drilled luggage rack bracket to enable a padlock to be introduced into the equation. found old cycle steel rope ( a bit to long at the moment) and fitted to frame. Will look for a shorter and neater wire rope at the cycle shop later. No ones going to steal my spare, no way hozay....

If you are doing nothing, how do you know when you are finished?
its on the car set keys and I hope that I dont loose them? the knitting is to confuse, glad that I did not try a reef knot.. thinking about doing something like Mr Been on the engine compartment sides. Multiple combination number padlocks, so I dont loose the keys, but remembering the code that's a challenge for an old fellow like me! Trivia: Rowan Atkinson owns a Morgan and a Mini, but what models I dont know.

I reckon you have now increased the overhung/unsprung weight by a HUGE percentage!!
