Has anyone tried to use the Club Discount for Friday 9th Nov. tickets to this year's show?
It only seems to apply to Saturday or Sunday tickets unless I am doing something wrong on the on-line advance booking form.

I think that constraint is normal practice - I could not use the code when I went on a Friday 3-4 years ago.

The discount codes only apply for the Saturday and Sunday There was an advanced 15% off for the Friday tickets through the official website which may have ended by now I can’t understand why Friday is more expensive, it must be some marketing decision but I don’t know the thought behind it Is it because Friday is when the serious non-family groups attend and so they are more willing to pay full price to avoid the busy days?

Thanks Paul and Stewart. I now also remember that this was the case when I attended a couple of year's back.
Yes, odd that Friday is more expensive. Most other 3 day events seem to charge more for weekend days.
Anyway I will still be going on the Friday. The thought of attending on an even busier day puts me off Saturday and Sunday!

I think its simply to keep the crowds manageable.
Last year Sunday was pretty good but Saturday is the bunfight.

Friday is very busy as is sat and sunday !  I thought Friday last year was just right, not too busy and certainly quiet in the late afternoon First time I went 4 years ago was on a Saturday and it was absolutely heaving

I always go friday, worth it to miss the chaos of the weekend days!
