Richard, although I'm not usually a fan of black trim on Trads, against your red it does look good !

@Richard Wood : I love the black overriders! How was it done (or where did you get them)? I can’t imagine they’re just sprayed or powder coated over chrome?

Hi Phil, they are powder coated, silk black in this case. The local company that did them, GKL Powder Coating, are based on a small estate adjacent to Snetterton circuit in Norfolk. Phone 01953 888215 or gklpowdercoating@yahoo.co.uk

They have a shot blasting company Ripblast conveniently next door to provide prep. So far they have coped with aluminium, steel and chrome plated parts, as I went through similar customisation with my M3W, including lacquered metallic finish wheels. The paint is rock hard and good to 170°C.
