Not much but more updates will be coming in the near future... First up, the standard original steering column has been lightened & modified. The steering wheel location has had a FIA WTCC splined union taped, screwed onto original thread. The spline piece has then been drilled to be puddle welded & then fully tig welded along the base join.   I also managed to source from BMW in Germany an original OEM, unused front engine bay subframe for the 6 cylinder engine.

2nd update today...…. As the same as period examples we have chosen to go with the single wiper conversion.   The car now wears a non-sunroof roof...  The battery housing in its position.  Any guesses what the hole in the 'B' pillar is for?  Today the BMW & certain parts went on a very important road trip. The car will now be away from me until after Xmas.  Don't worry I have plenty of ordering of parts & fab work to be getting on with whilst she's away....

Hole in B pillar?
Space for the roll cage to pass through? Nope, the cage is staying inside the passenger compartment. Fancy another guess??
