Needed to move the car back into the garage - which entails going from the front of the house to the back of the house. Needless to say, the "journey" wound up being a bit longer - about 20 miles...

Just had a weekend at Taffmog Christmas event. Metropole in Llandrindod Wells.
Wet drive up but rest of weekend was ok.
Sat/Sun drives were great.
Lake Vyrnwy hotel for lunch then cross country via Dinas Mawddwy....single track. A470 back due to time....mince pies were calling!
Sun run was Elan Valley over the trail not along the reservoirs, to Devils Bridge then Tregaron for coffee in Talbot Hotel and a bit of the F1 on tv.
Drove home via Abergwesyn road and turned off down past Llyn Brianne to Llandovery. The road was open but closes on weekdays due to logging in the Forest. Car is filthy after the dirt on the road so off to wash it now.
Music in the dinner on Sat was by two Taffmoggers and their group. Good range of music that got us up dancing.
The hotel owner has a P4SS in Gulf colours....very nice indeed. He couldn’t join us on runs but did get out himself.

interesting. Do you remember the good old days of road rallying when the likes of Alun Rees did some amazing times over the mountains. I know I'm living in the past? before my time - I was there in the early 2000's

390 miles over the last two days, visiting a pal. Horrible weather but with the roof up and heater on I was snug as a bug in a rug.

Nutcracker, Gremlin etc.
