My other half has put the cart before the horse so to speak and bought a Morgan suitcase for 'Mabel' but she doesn't have a luggage rack fitted at the moment.... I think he could possibly be dropping a not very subtle hint that he would like us to take her touring around Scotland in the spring!:)

Could anyone recommend the best one for me to buy?

Mabel has a spare wheel, is bumperless and doesn't have overiders. We will also need sidescreen storage.

Thanks

To my knowledge you have the choice for a car without spare wheel and without lemans horns, like the sports models, or you have a spare wheel on which you can fix another type of a rack but then you would need the lemans horns. Hopefully someone else has a solution for your car.

Try this.

Librands Luggage Rack

Enjoy the tour.

Thank you. Looks good. Where do the sidescreens go?

Just like any other Morgan rack made for sidescreen storage: on the inside of the rack, close to the spare wheel. The lower corner of the storage bag is resting in the small rectangular hoop at the inside, lower edge of the rack. The other, larger on the outside is of course to support the suitcase.

The bar directly above the spare wheel clamp is removable and the side screens slot in there. Then the bar is replaced to hold the screens in place.

Use a side screen bag to protect them.

The Librands is a good rack. Mine has the sidescreen storage that is handy.
Beware though....the Morgan case is BIG and will block off your rear view. Also, if you have a high level brake light it, too, gets blocked off.
Get used to using wingmirrors to compensate. Fit a brake light extension to fix higher. Those who have done it here can advise.
You need good straps to hold the case secure. Bespoke leather or strong ratchet type. Librands do leather.

I have a Rimowa suitcase which has accompanied me for many years. It is a bit smaller than that of Nick Burns in the Photo Gallery but of course both sizes work well. In my view the aluminium design and the shape fit quite well with the Morgan. You must insulate the contend with plastic bags against the rain. Then it works in a safe way.
