Apologies, I thought you were winding us up. I was, but I do also like that tune. Also unpopular, but only because she died too young to be. Discovered her recently, looks like a school teacher, but lovely voice, nice harmonies and guitars. One example but there are lots: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=PsXGzblg7Ws

It's a cliche about modern pop music being crap and it's all an age thing, but I think popular music went into decline from the mid eighties onward. I don't buy into the age thing theory, because I love possibly, the greatest era - the sixties when I was too young at the time to listen to it. They have all the computer technology to create whatever multi track sounds they like now, but very little of the talent and creativity it seems to me.

I should use that emoji more often as well. Clipper I seem to recollect (unfortunately) a LOT of garbage when I was young. Stars on 45 anyone. Don't click on this unless you want an earworm with big teeth - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RsaT6Jc1GAo I agree the advent of the computer based pitch adjustment has meant a lot of filtered garbage can now make it out to market where before it would have been smothered in the studio. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LA70TFPKAho There is still talent out there but sadly the market has splintered into download small band stuff and highly marketed big company stuff. We used to call it Indie bands? If you use a streaming service try the "if you like" and go sideways two or three links. It's fun finding lots of new stuff.
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

I really don't like the modern manufactured bands, but the likes of Noel and Liam Gallagher, Snow Patrol, Manic Street Preachers, Paul Weller, Radiohead, Stereophonics, Tom Walker etc all write and produce their own music in a more traditional manner.
Its not all crap nowadays - just most of it.

I agree; IMHO there are some great modern bands. Also, having grown up on the late 60s, I can assure you that there was also some dreadful cr*p around in those days.

Sorry never really liked music. Now it's got to the point where we even walk out of restaurants if there is a bloody row playing. You cannot seem to get away from it these days aaaaaarrrgh.
Sir P How boring !!! That's rather judgemental Craig! I know what Sir P means about Restaurant Music. It can be very annoying sometimes. Then read it again, he wrote “ sorry I never really liked music” So I say “how boring” Yes I agree some places can play irritating music, but not liking music IMO is boring. If my opinion is allowed on here?
