Anyone seen this new magazine yet? The Road Rat Retro / arty and very chunky (244 pages!), some great varied articles in the first quarterly edition an excellent read for the petrol head.

Gosh you wouldn’t actually think there is room for another motoring mag
I was in the flagship WHSmiths at the Trafford Centre the other week and the number of car mags was incredible

That looks interesting but I have an annual subscription to the quarterly in the form of Motorpunk magazine and that hits the spot every time so I'll stay with it for now.
Their brand of humour, humility, knowledge and irreverence is magic.

I have thumbed through lots of car mags in out WHS. I find most are boring as they are so similar. OK, many are brand specific but follow the same format but with brand specific bias.
I am tempted by Motorpunk and possibly this Roa Rat but will wait and see.
Maybe to be commercially viable you need a committed following which seems to create niche markets?
