Not sure I’ve got this under the right thread but I’m planning to make the pilgrimage to the Morgan factory with a couple of friends. It’s a trek from where we are in Yorkshire so the trip involves British rails finest and we’re planning to stay overnight in Malvern. Here’s the question, does anyone have any recommendations where to stay close to the factory? Mount pleasant looks good and is about a mile from the factory, anybody used it before? Any recommendations gratefully received

Thanks

Tony

Hi Tony,
Not sure what your budget is but my wife and I have stayed at the The Malvern Spa Hotel. Very close and a lovely place with a great indoor/outdoor spa.

Hi Tony, the nearest rail station for the factory is Malvern Link.
Depending on budget, there is a decent Premier Inn, behind The Malvern Spa.
I have used that a couple of times. Last time was at the weekend just gone.
A four pound taxi ride away from the customer centre.

Four pounds ? 😳. It’s only just down the road! I’ve stayed away the Malvern Spa a couple of times and enjoyed it. Five minute stroll to the factory.

There are some good recommendations in the thread around places to stay.

Also Tripadvisor is good if you filter a bit (look at how many total reviews people have posted to see if they are real). Most of the places are listed on it.

Another vote for The Malvern Spa. We ate there and the food was good.

If you are taking the train the Cotford Hotel is about 10 mins walk from Malvern Link. About 15 mins or a £5 in a taxi from the Visitor Centre. The food in the restaurant is excellent. Go for one of the upgrade rooms if you can as they are nicer.
