Functional but not very pretty on a car of this class.

never seen this before Malcolm ;it's not too well done either scared

I'm guessing this is to allow access to the power steering pump - but not sure why you would need this on a regular basis?

I could (almost) understand if it were on the other side to allow you change the air filter without removing the wing.......

What a horrible and unnecessary modification.
It also has other non S1 modifications.

Quite like the car, not a bad price but that panel is a mess, wouldn’t be so bad if the bodge was painted to match.

Really I thought it was a late S1 or S1.5 as they say going by the half dash and bootlid.

Having a look at the photos this has some odd parts about it.

2004/5 plate is at the end of S1 or near start of S2 phase ?
It has the small plastic covers around the front indicators of later S2.
It has two windscreen wipers which are normally early S1 (2000)
It has bolted alloys not centrelocks which were on a few late S1 and after market alloys which don't look too bad.
It appears to have the earlier S1 sized brakes.
S1 door handles
S1 boot lid

The panel is a total fail.

It appears to be an early car registered late?

Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

The MOT history is a little interesting - steady use, lots of passes, and then in the last 3 years the recorded mileage was 50,632 in 2016, 11,193 in '17 and 3,543 in '18.

It's a time warp!
