It costs £364, but if you want to base the vehicle in France make sure you get a declaration of conformity from MMC as the new intake was only put there to comply with Euro 4 requirements.

What absurd world we live in - You got to pay to get of something you neither need nor desire because someone in a glass office thousands of miles away decided to legislate.

But if you remove the intakes then you don't fit the requirements correct ? So does that mean you need to put them back on for every MOT test ? Or just when you import it in ?

Fuel range is around 200 miles but you will likely want to get out after 2 hours anyhow. If alone your luggage can go in the passenger space. I did a winter journey to my dealer & wore my motor bike trousers. Time was short & I made the mistake of not trying it out. With the armour still in I could barely move.
If you were considering a sat nav you will not hear it unless you have a helmet with blue-tooth ear piece.
The only Scottish dealer is Revolutions in Perth.

Hi Osten

I live in Burntisland in Fife (just across north of Edinburgh) so you are very welcome to come and stay over on your trip north. Malvern to Edinburgh is possible in a day, but not desirable!

I have a Euro 4 car from Dec 2017 and had the Euro 4 air intake and lights put back to Euro 3. I kept the E4 50mm higher ride height to help me over speed bumps - it also allows easier access (eg to check rear tyre pressure). I also think it looks nicer because you can see more of the rear wheel.

Morgan have had a few problems with the under capacity battery (replaced with one that had a higher cranking amperage) and the ECU adaptive mapping. My ECU has been changed back closer to E3 to cure irregular running. It runs fine now, if a little lean.

Before I bought mine, Calum Fraser (Red Three) said "if you don't mind an interesting and slightly experimental relationship with your vehicle you will get on just fine". That has proved to be the case as I have followed in the steps of many other and gradually altered (improved) it to suit my needs. Cheers
Geoff

Welcome Geoff,

Lovely part of the country that - spent many happy hours at Silversand beach with the Mrs and kids.

Good luck with your three wheeler - your journey sounds very familiar, you are in good company.

Osten you will probably get on with the M3W if you are used to bikes or 1960's & earlier cars. Those wanting a cocooned modern Audi experience best not apply.
My car is still on its original Banner battery, it does get an occasional battery tender treat.

@tazzer thanks for the invite and your valuable insight. Do you have some pictures of your 3w ? I'd love to see it and spot the difference.

I'm trying to lock a date to fly in and get cracking. What's the waiting time now between order and delivery now?
