There's probably some legal infringement going on there. Lets hope "The Council" don't get onto it.
I would mount a square number plate on the raised section.

The bins are the local authorities property hence the earlier jobsworth comment. We had a similar "issue" down here with a friend of mine testing his outboard in one  when said jobsworth turned up - he just cracked the throttle open and it got a bit wet and noisy and it crept back in it's hole. Unlike in Germany you had to buy your own galvanised bin for DM50 back in 1976.

Well I do seem to remember a thread on here not so long ago about fitting a fibreglass wing on a trad ?

Our bins are branded MGB. It was said that the designer hated MGB's so much that he deliberately named his bin design....MGB.
He must have had a bad one...........OK most of them are quite um, bad........
But good ones are very good.

Has it been converted to electric as all cooling is blanked off? That'll be the special 'winter' running mode. A desperate attempt to get a tiny bit of heat in the cab....
