I have to ask Shooter, what sort of work you do to rack up that many miles? Presuming of course it is work related..

For work, I'm a financial adviser. However, most Aero miles are for fun now whereas My S3 and then S4 Aero's were my everyday cars. Tesla is the everyday car now.

The Tesla is a lovely thing for daily commuting, I can imagine its hard to choose what to use for the fun drives though!

It is for Shooter given he has a GTN and an S5 ! Oh and a couple of bikes as well. Also possibly a beautiful Lancia. Nice taste sir.

Hi Shooter

What makes your high annual mileage in the Tesla all the more impressive is it's an electric car!!! I don't know anyone with an electric car who has racked up anything like that mileage so thumbs up.

Is the time it takes to charge when out and about an issue or not (given the mileage you've done I'm guessing not).

Charge times not an issue. For example, today I had forgotten to charge overnight so only had about 100 miles of range. Drove from Shropshire to Redhill and back via a stop each way in Crowthorne. Charged on way down at Membury services eastbound for an hour and had some lunch whilst charging and charged for 40 minutes at Membury westbound this evening on way back and had some supper whilst charging,

It is just a different mindset really.

Happy New Year, probably my annual post!
I have my S1 with about 50k. This was fun mileage not commuting. The Aero club runs to Switzerland and South of France.
It's weird that a 03 car with 50k mileage is through high.
Although now we have young children it's harder to use and my mileage has plummeted.

The car seems to have gone up in price
But now seems to benefit from a brand new “£25,000 engine and clutch”!
