Good afternoon everyone,
I am looking for some famous Morgan quotes, either from HFS Morgan, Peter, Charles or indeed general company ones.. got an idea for one I like so any help finding some to choose from would be great.
Google was not hugely useful, so I am still searching for good ones.

The most widespread Company/Agent quote, when you try and get something repaired under warranty , "After all sir , it is a Morgan"!!!

I would imagine that the MMC archivist would be able to help regarding the quotes written about the factory. I think it is Martyn Webb but I am sure that there are others on TM who will be able to confirm the name or direct you to the right person.
The early advertising campaigns and posters are a good source of slogans. Some of these are illustrated in Ken Hill's books but I am sure there are many examples of these at Pickersleigh Road.
A few examples from the 1930s that come to mind are:
'The spirit of the racing car'
'Not an experiment but a well tried machine'
'The comfort of a car and the economy of a motor cycle' (3 wheeler)
Then there are the 'unofficial' ones...

I rather like the line in 'Original Morgan' by John Worral:
"Nobody would be so cruel as to restore a Morgan to the condition in which it left the factory"!

Thanks for all of the quotes so far, must admit most have had me laughing out loud!   I was after something a little more inspirational for my idea however, or something a little more clever that makes you think, something along the lines of: - Henry Ford, "If I had asked people what they wanted, they would have said faster horses" - Mercedes, "The best, or nothing" - Ferdinand Porsche, "If one does not fail at times then one has not challenged himself" So far yet to find anything from Morgan, perhaps that is quite apt!

Charles is very quotable
There are some real interesting pithy stories that he tells in some of his YouTube interviews when he was MD (or whatever his official title was)
In one there was a little story he told when the head of engine design (or similar BMW big cheese) at BMW first heard his V8 in a Morgan
