Dave. Einverstanden! As we say in these parts. Howard that would mean I miss out out on the pleasures of coming home to the lovely G smelling of petrol and wax oil and thus with a very strong alibi as to where I've spent the past couple of hours. To delegate care and cleaning duties to an unknown party would surely have me thrown out of the small but masochistic group of Mog owners and fettlers to which I am happy to belong. But there will come day when I seek out the skills of those Central European mechanics and and ask them to deal with the more serious chassis and body issues.

I used to have a mark I cavalier that leaked oil a fair bit it sort of self under sealed as you drove it along, much to the MOT inspectors grumblings. (I know we wouldn't tolerate it these days)

My '78 Bonneville was a bit like that! +1 my T140V certainly was. My T140V Bonnie never leaked. It marked its spot.

If there are no oil drips then that is a sign that there is no oil left in there.....
