Interesting project but isnt the purpose of a windscreen to shield you against the wind, the key being the name? And dont you feel a bit of a boy racer kiddie driving a car on the road wearing a brain bucket?

I remember cutting out some 10mm polycarbonate for yacht windows and it was quite easy to do with a cutting disc in the angle grinder.

John V6...been rumbled !!! MMC told me to keep it quiet until after Geneva...I am testing an all new fully electric Morgan.!!!

...at the moment I only have a 50' extension cable so range limited.

The round mirrors were standard on the Plus 4 Supersports.

Craig ..first design still covered with protective film till I fit on car.

Howard..it's all about having fun at legal speeds on our busy roads in something different in my opinion....saw 2 Ferraris today..guess how many Morgans ? !!!

It's like a 4 wheeled fast motorbike and it makes me happy ..so there !!!

That looks good. Well done.

Isn’t this what Morgans are all about - making them just right for yourself.

Some do it with oily bits. Some do it with shiny bits. Kev does it with Polycarbonate.

I understood that polycarbonate front screens are not road legal in the UK. It might invalidate the insurance if there was an accident.

That makes no sense... almost all motorbike screens and helmet visors are polycarbonate and I expect the Aero screens are also PC. So what is the difference between an Aero Screen and a cut down screen?

I can sort of understand that replacing a laminated front window in a tin top is not approved, but in the Morgan context?

As ever, a "one size fits all" law that actually doesn't help anyone.

Any change to a car that you don't inform your insurer about can give the insurer a reason not to pay out.

No matter how un/sensible that may seem.

So it's worth letting them know.

I think aero screens are triplex laminate, but think you are right in your thinking.

Fandabbidozi, love that look ive been considering aero screens for a long time but the cost and fiddling to fix them put me off but this is the dogs bollocks, please post a pic of the first screen, as thats the way i think i want to go, not quite as radical but really shows off The Morgans lines. As i live in Dubai i never use screens or hood so for me its perfect and gives the car a great look. How difficult is it to remove/ refit the screen and what should I be aware of?
