Might have been out for a quick shop.

Fabulous runout to the breakfast meet at the Crazy Bear Cafe near Oxford. Tonneaux on, set off in drizzle and went through several showers - simply set the sun visor to the “rain-deflector” position and all was well. Great breakfast with a lovely group of M3W TM’ers. Nice drive home in warm sunshine. Perfect!

Not only do you have a Christmas tree stuck in your cockpit, but you seem to have parked on a curb

A run from Sussex to Dorset - lid on.

I don't pay *that* much attention to fuel consumption, but on free-flowing A & B roads which were dry enough to enjoy the car, the rate of drinking was closer to 30 mpg than I'd have expected.

Could be better aerodynamics hood on perhaps?

Went up to Williams and Castle Combe area last week and Tarka used 7.6 gallons to do 150 miles... so 20mpg.

Didn't think that I was being that heavy footed, but was in Sports mode all the time...

It's easy to get well under 20 mpg if you really want to enjoy yourself, I would imagine about 24 mpg is about average. I normally start looking for a petrol station at about 240 miles the gauge drops off quite dramatic at the lower end.
