Bike was an Yamaha TY50 Car (if you can call it that!) was a VW Beetle 1303S. The instructor did look at it twice before agreeing to use it for the test.
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

Mk1 Escort belonging to the driving school. Turned out the examiner was the father of one of the girls at school. A really lovely chap - with a very lovely daughter.

1960s Vauxhall Viva, but second time. Apparently I drove too slowly! Have made up for it in later years

Ford Fiesta for me. 2 attempts as I bumped the kerb with my tyres in the reversing part of the 3 point turn. 2 attempts at the bike test too, on a Honda CB200. Locked the rear wheel in the emergency stop.

Passed car test first time, 5 weeks after 17th birthday in 1967. Taught by my father, no formal lessons. Took the test in Malvern in a Vauxhall Victor with 3 speed column change and umbrella handbrake so hill starts were quite interesting.
