Over the years I have had numerous grease guns of various manufacturers and quality.
I need a new one now for cartridges. What is the general opinion and recommendations as to make and Best Buy? I like the look of the Sealey AK48 one handed operation. I will appreciate your comments.

The Wanner appears to be the favourite on other threads here but I've used a standard Japanese small gun for 15 years and no problems. The Sealey you noted will surely do the job well.

Then I suppose you already have a cartridge gun, although partially worn out. My suggestion: buy a used swiss Wanner gun, plenty on eBay. The wanner is small, one hand operation, stiff maneuoverable nozzle. Easy to bring in the car if you wish. Excellent quality, will most likely outlive you. But not for cartridge! So what I do is using an old cartidge gun, filling up the reservoir of the Wanner from the bottom and you are good to go. No mess, no spill, could do it in a white tux. Once the Wanner is filled you can grease the front suspension several times before you need to fill it again.

I had a lot of difficulties with grease guns until I bought a small Wanner. Compact and easy to use.

I use a Wanner that I bought off ebay. Good quality and compact enough to take on larger trips. Used on a recent trip to France in conjunction with a remote greasing kit. Made life pretty simple.

Agree on the Wanner, especially when fitted with a flexible hose.
