There's no shortage of sites to see in this area. For anyone traveling a distance or that hasn't visited the Shenandoah Valley or Central/Southwest, VA), it's highly recommended to piggyback this rally with a vacation.

There's enough scenery, driver-enthusiast routes, pristine roads, fine and casual dining, small town hospitality, wineries, brew pubs, music, yoga, Civil War historical sites, universities, museums, caverns, fresh air, hiking and shopping to make anyone a 'damn yankee by birth and a rebel by choice'!

If you're even on the fence about this or not sure you can commit, I strongly recommend at least making a reservation. Skyland Lodge has a wide variety of accommodations. Cancellation fee is only $15.00 until three days before the event.

Drive alone or in tandem, trailer or have it shipped....but let's make this fun!
Now we can get on with planning the venue and spreading the word!

Not yet. They asked for a realistic room/bed estimate. Still plenty of rooms available so we can convert to group status once we have some momentum.

Quick update. I've just heard from the group sales manager directly. She's willing to hold 15 assorted rooms for us, plus private space in the Pub Room for a club dinner on either Friday or Saturday night. She'll send me the package details (including discount levels) and a group booking number on Tuesday.

As we get closer, we can adjust the number of rooms.

If anyone wants to help with scouting road trips, lunch and entertainment venues for Friday and Saturday, feel free to join in!

Looks like I made a critical typo. Heading should read, "Skyline Drive", not Skyland (which is the name of the hotel).

Not sure how to correct that?

Anyone know if there's a M3W rental opportunity in the USA?

Good question. Worth a check-in with local dealers and to advise them of the rally to publicize. If not, how about a 'crew available' list in case anyone has a spare seat to offer..
