My towel is very rarely used for water ingress as I tend not to drive with the hood up anyway

(I have the hood up now as it’s a bit chilly and wet but it’s just to stretch it after a year of it being folded which isn’t really a good thing - note to self - must put the hood up more often through the year in the garage to stop wear marks )

My towel is more used to get rid of water that ends up lying on the tonneau cover or on the storm cover so I can pack it away relatively dry after a shower if it’s been parked

If water gets on the leather as it usually does when I’m driving in the rain then I just keep wiping it off so it doesn’t get soaked

Looking forward to seeing pictures.

SADLY...

The P4SS never happened. Not appropriate to say 'why not' on here, but the car was not for me in the end... confused2

However... as someone on here recently said, the Morgan for you will find you! And as it turned out, mine did! :>) A conventional Plus 4, in the 'classic Morgan' style.

Pictures to follow, suffice to say I am totally smitten with it :>)

Collected today, drove 1.10 mins home with the hood down of course! Not just one hat, but 2! Warm as toast with the heating on and the Winter sun out! Awesome :>)

What about side lights? I had mine retro fitted.

Possibly now a eurocrat grey area but a required feature on my classics.

Here she is!

A very unique metallic blue Morgan, with 'Shell' leather. Simply a 'RGB' paint mix colour. Looks epic, so different in artificial versus natural light! Photos do not capture the real essence unfortunately!

Very first impressions after 1.10 drive home!

1: LOTS of internal and external smiles!

2: Despite expert advice, no towel needed (as yet)!

3: Where do you put your left leg when cruising? (it wont quite fit behind the seats!)

4: 5th gear is useless aside from relaxed cruising... which is very useful!

5: Will 100% get the lumbar support added!

6: Big 'shout out' for Phil (the handsome young man in the photos that have made my buying experience from Allon White excellent! Recommended ++). We have a very similar level of 'OCD'!!

I actually got i the car and drove home... and after about 2 miles KNEW that this was the 100% right Morgan for me (us) and it would be in the family for many many years.

All in all, a TOP day.

Look forward to meeting many fellow owners in due course.

Cheers,

Pete :>)

Congratulations Pete! That's a beautiful colour on that car. Having just acquired mine a couple of weeks ago I know the feeling!
