Hi all.

My speedo stopped working yesterday - because of my fault.

I tried to reset the trip counter after filling up, but hit the button to fast after firing up the engine. That accidentally started the re-calibration routine. To my knowledge I didn't alter any number of that 5- or 6-digit code that appeared on the display. If I did then unknowingly.
I also didn't set off and remained parked, engine running.

When I finally got off the petrol station, I realized my speedo entirely stopped working. I did almost 500km yesterday, however the trip master was only counting 12 kilometer.

I disconnected from power supply - no change.
How do I get the thing working again?
Can anyone provide me with the right data for my car and wheel dimension (195/60/15)?

Thanks in advance.

Maybe the best is to go to a Ford garage, they will restart it with the electronic suitcase ???

No, thats got nothing to do with Ford. The calibration depends on the wheel size. In the meantime Marc Baldwin had the kindness to help.

The correct code on a Plus 4 with 195/60 tyres is (00)5360. The routine is entered by pressing the reset button WHILE turning the ignition - thats what I did accidentally.

He thinks the reading should still be OK with 195/65 tyres and he'll find out about the correct data for the Roadster Sport with 205/65. Thats the dimension I'll probably go for. Mine needs two tyres in the rear anyway.
