I guess the whim of a copywriter? Perhaps they thought buyers might confuse "4/4" for the price! Having said that, what is the price? There is no currency specified, pounds sterling presumably or is it guineas?

The advert doesn't seem to have been very well proofread unless the car has a total of 4 spare wheels and tyres.

Anyway, back on topic ... the programme is on shortly!

Gosh: The Plus 8 is 35 RAC BHP!!

They were unlucky with the weather, but even so, they should have gone topless, it’s not like they looked after the underside, a bit of damp wouldn’t be a big problem.

I really laughed at the dead end, I’ve done similar several times, it’s why my wife doesn’t like me driving!

I think they would have but my guess is that they were concerned that the cameras and equipment on each side of the screen facing the actors would have got wet

I think they’ll only drop the hood when it’s definitely dry
