MMC 11 + SP1 Those of you with good memories will remember seeing Brian's very special car before. I don't recall him moving to Africa though visiting frequently on business maybe. As far as I know Eton is still very much in England unless this Broxit thing has changed it all around .

The Cyclone engined SP1 looks interesting. Full size pics on Twitter. Great colour - with matching inlet manifold, oil filler cap and even dipstick, a real opportunity to spend as much time polishing engine bay as exterior Not sure about rear view though unless the hardtop comes off.

I have to agree Rich, when I saw him last year he certainly didn't have that much of a sun tan!!

I love that plus 8. It's interesting though that my 2005 roadster ser 1 did 0_60 in 4.5.......... I would have thought that plus 8 should be around a second quicker wouldn't you? Nick

Nick, I agree you would have thought it would be a little quicker that 4.5 Secs is quick. The best I've had out of my Classic 3.9Ltr Plus 8 is 6.0Secs one day when I decided to go for it and time it.
Money no object it would be one of those last Aero Plus 8's just stunning machines.

Skinny tyres and little weight over the rear wheels causes a lack of traction.

I think if you want to achieve the catalog's measurement times, you have to rape the car extremely. I've been afraid of that so far.

Absolutely right Heinz I didn't enjoy the experience I have to say it was the one and only time I have done it - somehow it just doesn't feel right in a Morgan

At that time I had a quick low diff +8 , when I first had it I thought it would not go round corner's, until I realized I was arriving at the corner 30mph faster than in my old 4/4
