Just time to post this before I go off for some restorative work on my aging frame !!!!

One year ago today I collected my Almond Green +4 Supersports from Ledgerwood Morgan in North Lincs.

How precious time flies !!!!….

12600 miles travelled in that year and it still gives me a "fizz" to look at and more importantly to drive it !!!

Consistent 31-34 mpg

Avos set at 4 clicks on front 6 at rear..tyre pressures set at 22psi all round.

Modifications carried out in my ownership :

Remote greasing system

Si Fab radiator ( insurance policy!!!)

Side exit exhaust to prevent hydrocarbon build up in cockpit and exhaust header wrap.

Aeroscreen or cut down windscreen for all weather usage.

Upcoming Modification:

Ready for kingpin replacement

What do I love about it: everything !!!

What do I dislike about it: nothing !!!

Back soon !!

Congrats on a year in a brilliant car!

I do have a 'pang' of regret that my planned purchase on a P4 S/S fell through... a great Morgan!

Enjoy many more years!

Well done Kev, that’s serious mileage.
Great to read of your exploits and mods, these cars need to be used!
We also collected our Almond P4 SS 16/60 1 year ago with only 1,600 on it, we have now covered 4,500 fun miles. The highlight was a trip to S West France and the Pyrenees it flew up the mountain roads after it had loosened up.
Mods I have added;
Roll bar
High level brake light on roll bar
Short shift by Vitesse, highly recommend as it transforms the gear change making it very quick and precise. ( done by Brands Hatch Morgan)
Classic E Type gearknob by Vitesse.
Replaced gearbox seal slight leak.
Sun hood
Replaced roller pedal
I am lucky to have a 3.9 +8 a road legal race car which gives a great driving experience, however as a road car the SS is just as exciting.

Looking forward to more miles this year.
