Why not do as I do and take the Morgan to church - thus ensuring it gets a regular service. Or am I preaching to the converted? The Morgan lesson being found in Ezekiel 10
Wings, four whirling wheels, fire, and the sound of the wings could be heard in the outer court - sounds about right to me.
About the only thing that has me thinking was to wonder just what it was that Ezekiel was smoking
A slightly different view of a speed camera van. A while back, whilst out in my Integrale enjoying let's call it a spirited potter along a sporting and twisty road I came round a particularly fun corner and realised that the white Transit type vehicle parked in the layby on the exit of the corner was indeed a camera van with its back doors and ominous black window pointing towards me. This was a bit of a surprise and did cause me a moment's apprehension followed by a degree of depression. This depression wasn't so much at being caught being a naughty boy more that when I came out of that corner I had the Integrale at that lovely point where most of the grip is in use, it's gently moving around just a little, it's in the power band, on full boost and I was still only doing about an indicated 55mph and don't think I could have got round that corner any quicker without it being on a track and with some nice run off areas. That road had a 60 limit. Just what did I have to do to get a speeding ticket from that van? Of course the crew may well have been on doughnut eating duties at the time.
I suspect there may be some in this thread who consider this to be irresponsible behaviour...they're probably right! Damn good fun though.
That made me smile - you haven't introduced us all to your Integrale yet, any chance of a photo or two ?
Sadly the Integrale is long gone. It was a fair age and mileage when I got it and I used it as my only car for a few years. This was before they became silly priced and unusable so while it was well maintained it got thrashed in all weathers and lived outside so eventually the combination of tin worm and ageing electrics put an end to it. The only photo I have of it is this one:
I reckon they are still one of the finest hooligan cars around. Great fun to drive and I always got the feeling that it was just encouraging or goading me to try harder. I also reckon if I was given one of the current day gleaming, perfect £50K Integrales to play with I could easily knock £30K off its value in a week by simply driving it and that's without crashing it!

Thanks for the photo and shared experience that is a lovely colour too and it certainly sounds like you had your share of fun in it.
I have seen these rallying to great effect and the monstrously powered one's on the German and Swiss Hill climb events they are truly impressive cars with what seems like limpet like qualities.

Our, sadly missed, next door neighbour who was the President of Lafranconi Silencers (the motorcyclists among us would recognise the name) had a red one. He drove it every so often and when he came home for lunch it was sometimes parked outside our house. It was his favourite car and something special as it was a numbered series, and I think one of the last that they made. He was no slouch when it came to driving it either despite the fact that he was well into his eighties.
He was very upset one day to tell me that someone had stolen the numbered series badge, which was on the rear internal parcel shelf, and the irreplaceable spare wheel. The car had been parked at the works but not locked. I think the thing that upset him most was that it was probably one of his employees that had stolen them. I don't know what happened to the car but I imagine that his son has it now.

I`m assuming he was smoking his tyres! However it is sound evidence that there are Morgans on the other side of the pearly gates. I wondered who would be the first to look it up - well done Peter.
