If it´s placed same place as on mine (2009 4/4 sport), it´s placed behind the drivers seat. Slide/tilt the seat to have access behind the seat, lift the carpet and look for a aluminium plate. Loosen the small selftapping screws (6?), remove the alu plate - and you´ll find what your´re looking for.
