Indeed it does! I managed to drill off the head of the screw without damaging the plastic lens....  Discovered some clever person had started the screw cross threaded. But with it all apart I was able to re-cut the thread from the back, un damaged side of the brass top hat using a good screw. Now all I need is a new screw!

Now all I need is a new screw! well done for sorting this Peter  When I replaced my lenses (for clear) , I managed to source some Allen head , Stainless screws to replace the chromed steel (?) originals as I have found these can (and do ) rust quite quickly. I put tiny O rings under the heads to try and seal yet another water entry point

James I'd love to replace them all with little cap head stainless Allen head bolts.... They just look so much neater..... If you have the details....?

Phoned Williams and they have found one for me: I'll collect it tomorrow. But S.S Cap head Allen screws would be MUCH better....

There are two types of thread, although the current one I think is something like 3mm metric.
The standard front screws are longer than the standard rear screws.
I would be interested in allen headed setscrews......
