Welcome Mac and to Jockmog. Dr Clare McLay is the membership secretary and she can be contacted at "membership@jockmog.org.uk".
Regarding security - I have owned several Morgans over the past 10 years and I have never had a problem with security while parking. Sometimes we may have put the roof up, sometimes we may have fitted the tonneau and sometimes we have even left it open!
Where in SW Scotland are you located - we are in Ayrshire?
Don.

Welcome to TM and Morganing - I haven't had a problem in 15 years ownership I always leave it with the storm cover over it if overnighting or parking up for the day. Rather uniquely these cars are respected more than the cause of negative envy as you will soon find, enjoy your adventures.

I think the advice to park with a stormcover is the best thing you can do..
That is what I also do!

Thanks for kind welcome...and thanks to all for your input. Very reassuring on the security question. Guess I can relax a bit now!

Looks like a storm cover is the number one accessory to purchase. I had followed a previous thread on the various storm cover options / recommendations, and think we'll go for John Taylor's (Phoenix) version. Probably the one that covers both cockpit & bonnet. (Never thought we'd have a car with a cockpit!)

Thanks also to Eddie & Don for the contact info for JockMog. I'll get in touch as suggested. thumbs

Don: Small world. I'm in Ayrshire too!

HB: I would be even more excited if, like you, I was picking up a brand new Plus 4...but my purchase is a more modest 2014 Plus 4. Nonetheless, we can't wait! Good to see your pictures from the factory.

Many thanks to all. No doubt I'll be popping in from time to time.

Thanks again.

Mac

Storm covers with hood up are the best. If it rains you don't get the fish pond. On this car I have bolted a lockable a4 size metal document container to the floor at the front of the passenger foot well, covered with carpet. It also serves as a passenger foot rest. Also have specially designed case for a blue badge that can be locked by a safety cable to the steering wheel. carpark tickets go in as well.

Welcome Mac. I am sure that you will enjoy your Morgan motoring without thinking about security.
I share all the other's views on this but am also interested in Ray's solution for the security of Blue Badges and car park tickets.
Is this a proprietary product Ray or a one off?

I've just seen the badge holders on Amazon (UK) for about £26, using the same search term as Ray suggests.
