CM posted another picture of one of the engines (ignore the red nose):

http://yfrog.com/f/h4ih53j/

It's black in between the ribs and looks nice, even if it has chrome tops.

I wish he could post another picture of that semi black engine, but without the Rudolf cap.

And apparently they're aiming for a 400 mile/640km range with the 9 gallon/42L tank. Not perfect, but should make it possible to tour with it without any problems.

Link above should take you to range of engines. From what I understand ths engine is somewhat more powerful than the 1800 HD. Something around 115bhp compared to 100bhp. What a shame...

Cheers

I get about 225 miles On a single tank in the Aero and toured aplenty? I would like to stop less in the aero as it's one of the most comfortable cars to drive I've ever had (once I'm in wink ) did nearly 1000 miles in a day with only a few splash'n'dashes and I really didn't feel like I've done anything like that distance.

I can't imagine the 3W being as easy/comfortable nor able to average 100mph on a dash back so maybe the range wont be an issue thinking

Thanks for the SS links y'all (see what I did there laugh2 )

Cheers

Well, yeah, but I was thinking Russia, Asia, and Australia.

It will certainly not be as comfortable as your Aero, but I gather it will be better than standing on pegs and straddling an engine all day long. grin2

Am I daft?

Is the horn actually the rightmost switch on this?

Graham - Don't the use of the S&S engine over the use of the HD engine remove your fears for vibrations from the HD V twin?

I understood they are marine style and manufactured. Hence water proof etc.
