Peter, that is a really lovely colour, was it your choice ?
A few years ago we spied a Plus 4 in PDI in a metallic bronze, with it's brown hood up, you rarely see Mogs with a brown hood, but the combo looked superb
The car was specified by the Sales team at Morgan to be used as the 2014 factory demonstrator. I would not have been so brave as to chose such a striking colour. But I have come to love it. My build book describes it as Rolls Royce Bronze, the leather is Muirhead Saddle Brown piped with Magnolia, with magnolia stitching. The piping between body and wing is also Magnolia. The hood is dark brown mohair, as are all the other bits. This is a photo of the colour as used in the 1970s by Rolls Royce Looking at it I do wonder if MMC could have used a magnolia mohair roof, though it would have been a pain to keep clean.

Many thanks guys - at 20000+ miles and nearly four years old it still looks pretty newish, as does Peter’s! It’s definitely a keeper, but then I always say that though most of my cars don’t end up being MOT’d. Not a good policy really, particularly these days when the uncertainty seems to be badly affecting prices of houses, cars and anything else you wish to mention...

A glorious, but wet run to Williams this morning for a bacon buttie and a natter. I picked up Will, "the Customer" on the way as he had to collect his S5 after some warranty work. On the way back I grabbed this photo whilst sitting at traffic lights.... Tarka will be 5 on 2nd April: the car thrives on regular use. Got home and washed off all the muck from the wet roads and fitted the missing set screw on the O/S rear light cover.

A drive out in the GTN today to Shrewsbury Town FC to watch the rather forlorn AFC Wimbledon today. Wanted to give the car a run out ahead of Milbrook on Monday with it.

I think I passed a beautiful shade of blue Aero today on the way to Ipswich (won’t say the number plate for GDPR reasons) - boy, it was a lovely looking Mog! I gave a wave but I don’t know if they waved back. They were on the A14 bit near Newmarket where it goes down to two lanes at about midday.... HB

That is simply stunning. I have always preferred the Aero 8's over the Plus 8's but I could be persuaded to change for that. Top draw

Well the day at Milbrook in the GTN was fun. Apart from me Rolls Royce had a few Cullinan's running around, some all matt, some zebra'd out and a number of autonomous vehicles wandering around.
Car went really well and loved the three linked loop circuits up and down the hills. Also had the skid area booked for an hour and spent a good amount of time pushing the car harder in tight turn to force the front and the rear to break and learn best ways to keep it under control. I was surprised at how well the semi-slicks worked on the wet and greasy surface and also how handy the clutch can be when it goes too far to get back! :-)
