Hi folks Apart from the obvious spanner set, flat and crosshead screwdriver selection & fuses, what do you pack in your tool box ? Bodge tape, and super glue maybe  wouldn't go amiss I guess but anything specific to Morgan that might get you out of a sticky spot ? Bonesie

Important to carry a spare auxiliary drive belt (fan belt). Can ruin a trip if one breaks, first problem is to know the part number, and second problem is to locate one. Suggest you write down the part number (take it off of the belt) and keep a note in the Morgan, and order a spare.
Next task is to investigate how the tensioner is released. On last years trip in Belgium one of the sigma engined Morgans destroyed a belt, nobody knew the part number, it was in the evening at a weekend, Morgan agents shut. They found a fragment of the belt in the road, got the part number, but unable to get that size, tried to fit a similar size but had already damaged the tensioner by forcing it. Morgan had to get trailered home.
Even if you call out a breakdown service, you will have the belt for them to install

I have one of those Lithium ion battery packs to jump start the car.
A spare throttle cable, fuses bulbs etc

A piece of folded up polythene or shopping bag to kneel on and a torch.
+1 for a spare relay if its a modern example.

Gaffer tape, WD40 & a hammer.
If it moves and shouldn`t - Gaffer Tape
If it doesn`t move and should - WD40
If it can`t be fixed with a hammer it`s an electrical fault.
Joking apart - screwdrivers, multitool, and assorted sockets, rubber gloves and an LED torch + set of spare bulbs & fuses.
Morgan car handbook - it`s handy to kneel on.
