I have yet to see my car, but I'm told *all* stateside bound 3 Wheelers receive the new 'inboard' style bracket (headlight cans straight away in front of the cylinders), required by USDOT for homologation (even though it is a worse design).

My dealer Northshore Sports Cars here in Illinois has gone and ordered the original style brackets at my request. It's the first (probably only) thing I'll change around once I pick up the car.

Since there is nary a FAQ on this, I'll try to take pictures as I do the job so it's easier for the next guy who decides he doesn't like the new positioning either.

Mine was delivered in Dec with new style. I did post what I had to do to put the older brackets on

Sorry I missed that Matt!

The dealer who prepped my M3W was planning on cutting and welding and re-coating the brackets and I said, "nooooooooooo....." I took them home and it really wasn't that hard to make them work
