At some stagethe profitability would plateau out as trad volumes decline. How many younger people would buy them? The niche market is a precarious one.
I would like to see younger people join the fold but to a degree, does it matter if young people don't buy Morgans? As a whippersnapper I longed to own a Morgan at some point but it didn't suit my lifestyle at the time (nor could I afford one).
As long as Morgans
appeal to young people and remain for them an aspirational product then Morgan will be OK. The key is to ensure that enough of those youngsters continue to aspire to the point where they are wealthy enough to own one at a future stage in their lives. A conveyor belt of relative "oldies" should keep the wolves from the door.
