Driving over a cattle grid gets mine out  That use to happen on my 4/4. The first time was quite a shock!

finally removed horn push,fitted new one,horn still not working.
checked the obvious ie fuse,wiring etc.taken to shouting when cars pull out in front of me.

Have you tried testing the actual horn? They do fail occasionally

Hi Graham
Horn works when you earth out steering column ,apparently there is a copper plate behind the steering wheel.I need to check the earth on it fingers crossed.
