It's not. If you look at the parts description, it gives a clear picture of the attachment points. It's a DIY job.

You would need a tap and a jack to lift the car up, rather easy

It does add complexity to rear tire removal and reinstallation so while you're at it check to see if the tire needs replacing. Don't waste an opportunity!

What's your mileage? Who cares. Is it practical? See #1. What happens when it rains? You get wet.

Consider riv-nuts instead of tapping directly into swinging arm. Provides more substantial thread and more resiliant to regular removal.

Also consider fabricating one from a plastic trailer mudguard (Indispension MG008). Considerably cheaper and just as good, if not better.

Thanks everyone for your advice. It looks like it's a DIY job then with some mods on the factory kit.

Here is an earlier thread of fitting a trailer mudguard. Mine is similar but rear end is supported off a bracket spanning the rear of the body. There is enough flex in it to take up body movement relative to wheel. Likely to be cheaper than Morgan kit.

Hi, I had the factory fit the mudguard when my M3W had its first service. All painless if expensive. Six months later what I can only assume were some bolts that sit proud of the mudguard, had worn holes in the rear plastic liner over the rear wheel. It was replaced under warranty and the bolts reworked. So when doing this job yourself make sure that the finished mudguard sits well inside the rear plastic liner.

Methinks we all buy Morgans to think how we fix what is not thought through..... or methinks the lady(or laddy) protests too much
